When you select it a region on a track your selection will snap to a user defined grid value.

To change this value or enable or disable it, right click on the audio track. A menu will appear.The bottom section of this menu will list different grid value options.

The grid options are

• Adaptive grid - This changes the grid based on zoom level and gives you five different choices from "widest" to "narrowest".,

• Fixed grid - This is a set grid value and a list of time divisions are gives from 8 bars to 1/32

• Off - This turns off the grid value.
