To create a custom template in Logic follow these steps.

1. Assign any key commands you wish to use.

2. Add the tracks you wish to use in your template such as audio, software instrument or Aux's or busses and set the I/O configuration for them.

3. Add any plug ins you wish to use.

4. Click File then Save Template As and then save your template in Logic's Project Template folder.

You should now be able access the template when started a new session in Logic.
