In the 1950s there were two primary magazines for Audio-Phyles One of them ran an artical or two about air couplers. They gave plans and dementions . It was made out of wood or thick plywood with a labyrynth of different lengths and was said to produce sounds that were so realistic that experts could not find where it was comming from.
